Guwahati: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has summoned Rhea Chakraborty in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case after arresting his sibling Showik Chakraborty and the late entertainer's house supervisor Samuel Miranda.

During an interrogation on September 4, the NCB found the whole chain of the drugs that were given to SSR and who all were involved.

Drug peddler Zaid Vilatara made a few revelations. According to him, Abdel Basit Parihar used to procure drugs from him and another drug peddler Kaizen Ibrahim on the guidelines of Showik who might get drugs on the instructions of his sister, Rhea. Samuel, who was an only house manager, would gather drugs, and afterward, the drugs would be given to SSR.

The NCB has likewise revealed that payments were done through Google Pay. "We showed evidence gathered during the probe and Miranda admitted that he was collecting drugs for Sushant from the peddlers," a senior NCB official told media.

The NCB has discovered that the individuals who were providing drugs to Rhea and Showik are in the same group that was offering drugs to the celebrities of the Kannada film industry in the Sandalwood drugs racket. Ragini Dwivedi has been arrested in the case and the names of around 15 celebrities from the industry have emerged in the racket.

On June 14 Sushant was discovered hanging to the roof fan of his house in Bandra, Mumbai. After his family blamed Rhea for abetting Sushant's suicide, the Enforcement Directorate enlisted a separate money laundering against her and a couple of others.

The federal agency probing budgetary cheating recovered an erased WhatsApp chat that allegedly proved that drugs were being provided to Rhea and Showik.
