New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, right in her first appearance for the day of Union Budget 2019 presentation, hinted at breaking the conventions. Carrying the Budget papers in a ledger wrapped in a red cloth, she indicated that she is here to follow the Indian tradition uprooting the western style.
Being the first budget of the second term of Modi government, it bears a great significance as this happens to be the maiden budget of the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as well.
