UPSC Exam 2022 Final Result Declared: Assam’s Mayur Hazarika Bagged 5th Rank

UPSC Exam 2022 results declared at www.upsc.gov.in. Ishita Kishore Topped, while Garima Lohia bagged 2nd ran, Assam’s Mayur Hazarika bagged 5th rank.

NEW DELHI: UPSC Exam 2022 results declared at www.upsc.gov.in. Top four rank bagged by women. le Ishita Kishore is UPSC 2022 topper. Garima Lohia secured the second All-India Rank (AIR) in the UPSC Civil Services (Mains) Examination 2023, whereas Assam’s Mayur Hazarika topped among men securing 5th rank. According to a source, Mayur is currently working as a doctor, currently working at Nagaon Government Hospital. 

Mayur Hazarika is an ex-student of Donbosco high school ,Tezpur.

Meanwhile, Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah taking on Twitter wrote, “Congratulations Mayur Hazarika for securing AIR-5 in UPSC CSE-2022.

It's indeed a proud moment for Assam and the North East. I hope this accomplishment will inspire more youths from our state to shine in the National Level Competitive examinations.”

4th Rank- SMRITI MISHRA

5th Rank: Mayur Hazarika

On the other hand, based on the results of the Union Public Service Commission's Civil Services Examination, 2022, held in September 2022, and the interviews for the Personality Test held in January-May 2023.

A total of 933 people have been suggested for appointment this year. Meanwhile, girls have taken the top four positions.

In 2021 UPSC Final exam , three candidates from Assam namely Shilpa Khanikar, Ayushi Kalwar and Devajyoti Burman. Shilpa Khanikar ranked 506th in the UPSC exams, while Ayushi and Devajyoti ranked 618 and 639, respectively.

The UPSC CSE preliminary test was held on 5 June 2022, and the results were announced on 22 June. The UPSC Mains test was held from September 16 to September 25, and the results were announced on December 6. The interviews took place between April and mid-May.
