Mumbai: Journalist and author, Pavan C. Lall's book on Nirav Modi will soon be adapted into a web series by the production house Abundantia Entertainment.
Abundantia Entertain had announced that they have acquired the rights of the author Pavan C. Lall to make a multi-season web series based on his book titled, Flawed: The Rise And Fall of India's Diamond Mogul Nirav Modi.
The book, as the title suggests, is centred on the life of Nirav Modi, who was one of India's leading diamond merchants. The events in the book are derived from the author's personal encounters, interviews, and research conducted by him.
Pavan C. Lall is an investigative journalist and will also serve as a consultant writer for the web series.
The key aspect of the book is its narration of the captivating details of the rise of Nirav Modi to the pinnacle of success and his downfall. Nirav Modi was the man behind the PNB scam which involved an illegal transaction of about Rs 13, 500 crores causing disastrous consequences for many PNB account holders.
The announcement of the web series was made by Abundantia Entertainment on Twitter. The tweet read, ".@Abundantia_Ent acquires the rights of senior journalist @LallPavan bestseller, '#Flawed: The Rise and Fall of India's Diamond Mogul Nirav Modi'. Set to be adapted as a major, multi-season series.Scripting underway!"
The web series will bring a great thrill to those who have closely followed the Nirav Modi scam case.
