India's female player Priya Malik has won the women's 75 kg weight category gold medal in this championship being held in Hungary.

Priya won the gold medal in the World Cadet Wrestling Championship by defeating the Belarus wrestler 5-0. Priya has won the gold medal in Khelo India in Pune in 2019, a gold medal in the 17th School Games in Delhi in 2019, and a gold medal in National Cadet Championship in Patna in 2020.

Priya Malik won gold in the National School Games held in the year 2020.

On the other hand, Mirbai Chanu had won a silver medal for the country in the Tokyo Olympics-2020 on Saturday itself and created history.
