NEW DELHI: On 21st of February, Tuesday, the government of United Kingdom invited as many as 2,400 visa applications for Indians under the UK-India Young Professionals Scheme.
The scheme provides access to Indian citizens between the age group of 18 to 30 years old to freely reside and work in the UK. The validity of the scheme for a particular individual lasts upto two years. The British High Commission in Delhi views the scheme as an tremendous way for Indian citizens to obtain a bright future in the United Kingdom.
The BHC mentions that it is compulsory for any individual to get selected in the India Young Professional Scheme ballot prior to applying visa. The first ballot opens at 2:30 pm on 28th of February.
The set eligible characteristics to acquire the scheme includes- an individual must be an Indian, whose age group stands in between 18-30 years. An individual must be 18 years old when he/she plans on to move to the United Kingdom. Basic qualifications needed under the scheme includes a Bachelor’s Degree or above.
A minimum of £2,530 must be there with an individual to survive in the UK. The scheme restricts anyone who has responsibility of a minor under the age of 18 years. In order to apply for the India Young Professional Scheme, one has to enter into the scheme’s ballot.
If an applicant is eligible for the further process, he/she will get an invitation to apply for the visa. One has gather all the necessary documents to apply the visa. At last, the selected applicant has to submit all the valid documents and information and get the visa done. The applicant must apply for the visa within the allotted time period which will be mentioned in the invitation itself.
Usually, the time period or the deadline lasts upto 30 days. After applying for the visa, the aspirant must shift to the UK within six months of time period. The needed and mandatory documents while applying for the same includes- a passport or any other proof that he/she belongs to Indian nationality.
A valid proof that an individual have minimum £2,530 in the bank account, it can be a bank statement. Further, a clearance certificate and TB test results is a must.
