People delete their social-media posts for various reasons.
Some people need to make room. Others took a lousy one and would prefer that it
be replaced with a better one. Some people may be heartbroken, so they erase
any photo that reminds them of memory they'd rather forget.
Here are a few steps on how you can delete your posts from
different social media.
Deleting on
Instagram:
Bulk deleting of your posts, clips, and comments is possible
using the Instagram app's activity menu. You can also sort your posts by date
to view what you posted over a certain period of time. Tap Select to indicate
the photographs you want to delete from your public profile, then archive or
delete them.
Single-post deleting:
Above your post, press ig-three-dots (iPhone or Android), then
tap Delete. To confirm, tap Delete once more.
Bulk- deleting:
- Tap
or your profile picture
- Tap
> Your activity.
- Tap Photos and videos, and then tap Posts
or Videos.
- Select the photographs or videos you want to
delete in the top right corner, and then hit Delete. To filter your pictures or
videos before picking, go to the top right and tap Sort and filter, then choose
your sorting preferences or a date range, then touch Apply.
- At the bottom, tap Delete. To confirm, tap
Delete.
- Tap Sort and filter to turn off sorting. After
that, hit Reset, and then Apply.
Deleting on Facebook:

Filters. You may choose certain years, the author of the post, the level of
secrecy, and the items you've been tagged in.

check box in the upper-right corner.
- Select Next
at the bottom of the page once you've selected all of the posts you wish to
remove.
- Then choose Delete Posts, then Done.
Deleting on Twitter:
Twitter does not allow you to remove many tweets at once.
You may either scroll back to the beginning of your account, which might take a
long time if you've been on Twitter for a long period, or use the app's
advanced-search lookup function to identify certain phrases used in older
tweets. After that, you may eliminate them one by one.
Single-post deleting:
- Visit your Profile page.
- Locate the Tweet you want to delete.
- Click the
icon
- Click Delete Tweet.
Bulk- deleting:
- In a browser on your Mac or PC, go to the Tweet
Delete website.
- Connect
your Twitter account by logging in.
- Adjust the application's settings accordingly.
- If you wish to remove all of your tweets, pick
"All time" from the dropdown option under "Age of tweets to
delete."
- Click "Delete my tweets!" after
checking the box verifying you've read the terms and conditions.
