our everyday lives. Smartphones enable users to seek up information and do

find our smartphones.
Your smartphone, or tablet will be detected by Find My
Device. Find My Device will show its location if location services are enabled.

Method
I: Track through wireless carrier
Your wireless carrier's website or app can be used to report
it as missing or stolen. You may even lock or wipe your device from afar.
Method II: Track by Find my Device by
Google
This function, which is embedded into your Android
smartphone through Google Play Services, is the simplest way to find a
misplaced Android cellphone. This allows you to track down your misplaced phone.
Enable:
- From a Home screen, navigate: Apps >Settings >Google >Google
services
- To allow the device to be remotely located:
- Tap Location
- Ensure the Location switch (upper-right) is set
to the ON position.
- Tap Security
- Tap the following switches to turn on:
- Remotely locate this device
- Allow remote lock and erase
Prerequisites:
- Always be alert.
- You must be logged into your Google account and
have access to Wi-Fi or mobile data.
- Be found on Google Play.
- Have you enabled location services?
- Have you turned on Find My Device?
How to use?
- Log in to your Google account at google.com/android/find.
- Your smartphone, smartwatch, or tablet will be
detected by Find My Device. Find My Device will show its location if location
services are enabled.
- After you've set up Find My Device, you may
perform one of three things:
- Play Sound: phone
will begin to ring. To silence the sound, press the power button.
- Secure Device:
If you believe your smartphone has been lost or stolen, you can lock it
remotely.
- Erase Device:
If you don't believe you'll get your device back, you can erase it to prevent
anyone from accessing your information.

Method III: Track with a third-party app
If you have small children who have access to a phone, a
third-party app is also useful. You may ensure that they are secure, by putting
a third-party app on their phone.
4. Method IV: Track
through your phone manufacturer
Most Android phones come with a tracking app or some other
means of locating phone if goes misplaced. Make sure this option is turned on
at all times.
Example: Find My Mobile is a setting on Samsung Android
phones that operates similarly to Google's Find My Device.
5. Method V: Track the IMEI number
You'll need to download a third-party IMEI tracking tool to
trace using the IMEI number, and you should use this approach as a last option.

in the future for taking 5 minutes to perform the following:
- In phone handset, enable passcode and
fingerprint authentication and disable face recognition.
- Regardless matter who made your phone set up
Google's Find My Device service.
- If you can trace your phone's position after
it's been taken, don't try to reclaim it yourself.

a claim.
