AOD celebrates Indian Oil Day

DIGBOI, Sept 1: The fraternity of Indian Oil Corporation, Assam Oil Division in Digboi at Tinsukia district observed the significant Indian Oil Day here with a day long agenda of various meaningful activities. Indian Oil team at Digboi came forward to rejoice in the enthusiastic celebration of Indian Oil Day.

ED of AOD Mritunjoy Pramanik remarked, “On this occasion, I must congratulate one and all of team AOD Digboi for best performance in the last fincial year 2016-17 and till date. Although refinery output was lower on account of crude availability, however various milestones have been created.” The Shramveer Puraskar instituted by Assam productivity Council was bestowed upon Ajit Kumar Barua during the function as recognition to exemplary job performance.

Meanwhile, as a part of the celebration agenda of the  Indian Oil Day, a walkathon was also conducted earlier, in which IOCL (AOD) Magement and several other employees joined in to walk from the Golden Jubilee complex to the AOD hospital beside attending the Blood dotion camp being organized there simultaneously. The IOCL (AOD) magement also distributed fruits to the patients in the hospital.
