Freedom fighter passes away

Bongaigaon, Oct 4: Freedom fighter Anth Bandhu Pathak died on Wednesday at the age of 94. He was born in the year 1923 in Bongaigaon.  He was a vy man by profession first, then leaving that job he joined the Birjhora Girls’ MV School and became head teacher of the school. He was also a State-level football player, tiol-level football referee, sports organizer, sports pensioner and social worker. He died due to his old age ailments. Several organizations of Bongaigaon have mourned his demise.
