This time for the MBA batch there were about 50 recruiters who had extended a variety of viable offers. Many recruiters have come forward for hiring eligible candidates and out of the lot about 45 percent were large MNCs, and also included new recruiters. It was seen that the Institute had a steep increase in the number of recruiters for the 2019-21 MBA batch than the previous batch with a total of 86 recruiters.
The Chairperson of the Career Development Centre, Sabyasachi Malhotra expressed, " Despite the unprecedented challenges caused by the pandemic, we roped in some of the leading first-time recruiters."
Old recruiters of the Institute like Crompton Greaves, Kotak Mahindra Bank, BNY Mellon, KPMG, Byjus, Gartner, Tech Mahindra, and more also extended offers to the graduating batch of 2021.
This year the average CTC offered to the graduating students was also increased to 10 LPA (lakh per annum), which is precisely 9.92 LPA (lakh per annum). The students of the earlier batch were offered a little less which is 9.57 LPA (lakh per annum). This time with a 7 percent increase the highest salary stood at about 17.3 LPA (lakh per annum).
The list also had well-known recruiters like ClearTax, Tata Power, IndiaMart, TVS Credit, McKinsey and Co., SBI General Insurance, Tata AIA, Hettich India, Kale Logistics, Scaler, Darwin Box, Simplotel, Groww, Pickrr, TA Digital, Suzlon Energy, NLMK Steel India Ltd, Volvo Eicher, Markets & Markets and more.
