ITANAGAR: The All Arunachal Pradesh Students' Union (AAPSU) on Tuesday said that 'demanding' has become a culture in the State only because the Arunachal government has never looked into the matter concerning students.

Earlier in the day, a team led by AAPSU vice president Tayuk Sonam and scholars from Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) submitted a memorandum to the Education Minister Taba Tedir demanding immediate recruitment of Assistant Professors in the government colleges of State.

Tayuk Sonam said, nowadays it has become a culture to demand the State government for educational facilities. "The State government decided to establish government colleges in respective districts.

However, when the colleges lack sufficient teaching faculty, there is no use of such an establishment," he said.

He said the same demand for the recruitment of Assistant Professor was also placed before the State government in the year 2018. He underlined that the State government is aware of the situation but is not capable of bringing out the solution.
