Act against encroachers of Government quarters: Arunachal Pradesh Indigenous Tribes Union (APITU)

Arunachal Pradesh Indigenous Tribes Union (APITU) has demanded immediate action as per the law against the persons who encroached upon government quarters.

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Indigenous Tribes Union (APITU) has demanded immediate action as per the law against the persons who encroached upon government quarters in the twin capital region.

Speaking to the media at the press club on Friday, the President- of APITU, Tadar Nilo informed that the union has already submitted its representation to the Chief Minister demanding action against the wrongdoers who encroach on government quarters. "It's a daylight crime, and Government should issue Notice against unauthorized occupation or encroachment in government land, and in government, quarters," added the president.

He further said that the APITU has also demanded a double-lane road from Papunalla to Jully via Ganga, Itanagar. This road is one of the bypass roads of the twin capital, so this road needs proper attention for public convenience, added Tadar. While pressing for more alternative bypasses, Union has also demanded renovation/construction of Papunallah to Donyi-Polo via Gompa Road, Itanagar.

Stating that, Union also demanded renovation and construction of CC Pavement road from NH-415 to Sangay Lhaden Sports Academy, Chimpu, steps for beautification of Ganga Lake and others.
