Adi Bane Kebang Youth Wing issues deadline over NH-13 from Pasighat-Pangin

ITANAGAR: The Adi Bane Kebang Youth Wing (ABKYW) demanding immediate clearance of the entire road blockade at National Highway-13 from Pasighat-Pangin, served 15 days ultimatum to the State government and M/s. T.K Engineering & Consortium Pvt. Ltd .

The union also demanded the completion of the project by December'2020, especially the Yembung bridge of Package-IV under NH-13 which has been lying incomplete since the project was started back in the year 2010.

Addressing the media persons at the Press Club here on Wednesday, ABKYW president Joluk Minung said; "It is a long felt demand of the public from the entire Siang belt to immediately restore the NH-13 for smooth traffic flow".

"It is seen that blockades developed due to landslides occurred during the last three years on the side of the road are still lying unattended", he said.

He also informed that on October 21, a memorandum was submitted to Chief Secretary (CS) and Chief Engineer of the highway regarding the matter but not a single block point is cleared till date.

"We will go for democratic movement if the government and the constructing agencies fail to meet the demands within time period", he added.
