Adi Students' Union (AdiSU) demands Vice-Chancellor for Arunachal Pradesh varsity

PASIGHAT: The Adi Students' Union (AdiSU), led by its president Jirbo Jamoh, met Commissioner of the Education Department, Padmini Singla during her visit to Pasighat and urged her to direct the authority to expedite the process for appointing a Vice-Chancellor in the State's lone university, the Arunachal Pradesh University(APU).

Padmini Singla, along with other officials from the Education Department and JN College, Pasighat visited the Arunachal Pradesh University campus at to take stock of the situation.

During the visit, the team inspected the administrative block and under-construction academic blocks of the university.

AdiSU president Jirbo Jamoh said that the union is immensely pleased by the visit of the Commissioner to the campus of Arunachal Pradesh University, Pasighat.

"We have reiterated our demand for early appointment of Vice Chancellor, faculty and infrastructural development in order to achieve the dream of a fully-functional State university. Moreover, Adi Students' Union shall continue to pursue the issue till the demands are fulfilled," Jamoh added.
