All Arunachal Pradesh Labour Union organizes awareness camp

DUMPORIJO: Taliha MLA Nyato Dukam, who is also the chairman of the Arunachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (APB and OCWWB), attended an awareness camp organized by the Upper Subansiri district unit of the All Arunachal Pradesh Labour Union (AAPLU) on Friday.

In his speech, Nyato Dukam appealed to the labour community of the district to participate in such awareness camps to learn more about the APB and OCWWB and the facilities provided by the state as well as the central government. He also appealed to the worker’s community to maintain the dignity of labour and work with sincerity, dedication, commitment, and nation-building. Such an awareness drive should reach the masses, especially the worker’s community, and every single worker should benefit from it. He said the board has been constituted to oversee the welfare of the worker’s community and also to ensure their safety and security as per rules and regulations framed by the board and government for the labour/workers community. On the day, blankets and tiffin boxes were distributed among the working community by the chairman.

Among others, Dumporijo MLA Rode Bui, President AAPLU Dana Tadu, and the AAPLU Upper Subansiri district unit president and secretary general attended the camp.
