ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen K T Parnaik extended his heartfelt greetings to all the children of the state on the occasion of Children’s Day, which commemorates the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru. In his message, the governor said that children are indeed the future of any nation, and investing in their education, health, and overall well-being is essential for a prosperous society.
Parnaik said celebrating Children’s Day serves as a poignant reminder to all citizens, especially parents and guardians, of their fundamental duties. “Providing quality education and equal opportunities for children is not just a responsibility but a moral obligation. It is through education that young minds are shaped, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to society in the future. Proper nutrition, regular exercise, and access to healthcare services are essential components of ensuring a healthy and vibrant younger generation,” he said. By acknowledging and addressing these aspects, societies can pave the way for a brighter future where every child has the opportunity to thrive, learn, and grow into a responsible and educated citizen, he added. “On this momentous occasion, I pray to the Almighty to bless each one of our children with his choicest blessing,” Parnaik said.
