ITANAGAR: State Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) personnel can't seem to get enough with making headlines; albeit for all wrong reasons, and joining in the bandwagon is head constable Nani Talley, who has since been suspended for making a video of infamous YouTuber Paras Singh inside the District Jail, Jullang.

A video emerged online on Friday evening, which has since gone viral, wherein head constable Talley along with his other colleague (s) were seen questioning Paras over his YouTube content that landed him at the District Jail, Jullang.

Although the line of questioning is not appalling, the very act of making a video of an inmate inside the District Jail is. The viral video has also drawn severe criticisms from various sections of society, prompting authorities to take immediate action.

As per the order issued today by 4th IRBn BHQ commandant Techi Henyir, head constable Talley has been put under suspension with immediate effect. Talley will be entitled to draw subsistence allowances but has been directed to not leave the 4th IRBn headquarters, here without prior permission.

The Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court on Friday has extended the judicial custody of YouTuber Paras Singh for 7 more days. Paras, who is presently lodged at the district jail in Jully near here, was produced before the Court following the end of his six days of judicial custody.
