Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu discusses developmental issues

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu called on state Governor Lt Gen K T Parnaik on Friday at Raj Bhavan here and both discussed developmental programmes, including vibrant village projects. The governor, who visited Zemithang, one of the selected border villages under the vibrant village pilot project, shared his observation with the chief minister and called for a cluster approach, involving all departments in bringing notable growth and progress to the village.

Khandu apprised the Parnaik about the hydropower projects and proposed the signing of memoranda of understanding with central public sector undertakings (CPSUs). The governor and the chief minister discussed roads, internet communication, the availability of department and district data for planning, and various ongoing welfare schemes and projects in the state, as a Raj Bhawan communiqué informed here.
