Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu inaugurates 31 new projects

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu inaugurated around 31 infrastructure projects during a two-day visit to the Thrizino-Buragaon Assembly constituency.

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu inaugurated around 31 infrastructure projects during a two-day visit to the Thrizino-Buragaon Assembly constituency.

Khandu inaugurated seven projects at Bhalukpong and the rest in Thrizino on January 12 and January 13.

In one of his speeches, Khandu said that for the last three months he has been on tour to every district of the State to know the ground realities. He also appreciated the local MLA Kumsi Sidisow for successfully completing the infrastructure projects sanctioned by the State Government.

Khandu said that 28 projects were inaugurated and foundation was laid for three projects. He said that the projects have been completed only because of the cooperation of local denizens and proper supervision of the local MLA.

While speaking about the 17-km-long Palizli to Thrizino road condition, the Chief Minister informed that the road has been taken under Chief Minister's Comprehensive Road Scheme (CMCRS) and the tender process has been also completed, plants and machinery are on the ground and work will soon be started.

He said that every project has a timeline for completion and the State Government will ensure that every project is completed on its given time frame.

Meanwhile, MLA Kumsi Sidisow expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for visiting the constituency and inaugurating the projects. He also informed that 16 nore infrastructure projects are yet to be inaugurated as some works are still going on.

While speaking on the quality of work, Sidisow informed that quality has been maintained in the entire project, and they have strictly directed the executing agencies not to compromise with the quality of the work. Meanwhile, he assured to complete the Palizi to Thrizino road project by 2024.

Dirang MLA Phurpa Tsering, Kalaktang MLA Dorjee Wangdi Khrama and other dignitaries attended the event.
