Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen K T Parnaik’s greetings on Diwali

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen K T Parnaik has extended warm greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Diwali and prayed that the festivity ushers in peace, prosperity, and joy in the northeastern state. In his message, the governor said that Diwali, the festival of lights, inspires people to move from darkness to light. “It symbolizes triumph of good over evil and knowledge over ignorance. Diwali also marks the birth of a new and rejuvenated soul. On this righteous day, let us light the lamps of compassion, love, and virtue and promote amity and brotherhood in society,” he said. Parnaik, while conveying his greetings to all, has appealed to each and every citizen of the state for a pollution-free Deepavali celebration. “Wishing you all a very happy Diwali,” the governor added in his message.
