ITANAGAR: The COVID-19 tally in Arunachal Pradesh rises to 37,879 as 348 more people tested positive for the infection. The toll tally in the State increased to 181 after two more persons died in the past two days, informed State Surveillance Officer Dr Lobsang Jampa.
Meanwhile, a 28-year-old woman from the Capital Complex Region (CCR) died at the Dedicated Covid Hospital (DCH) at Chimpu near here, on Tuesday due to Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and COVID Pneumonia.
A man of 70 years age from Changlang district died at Assam Medical College Hospital in Dibrugarh district of the neighbouring state on Sunday due to cardio-respiratory failure.
The CCR reported the highest number of new cases at 102, followed by East Siang (30), West Kameng (26), Changlang (23), Upper Subansiri (20), Lohit (19), Papumpare (17), Lower Dibang Valley (14), Anjaw (13) and Siang at 12 cases, he said. been tested for COVID-19 in the State so far, including 5,304 on Tuesday, added Jampa.
