Arunachal Pradesh Minister Tage Taki calls for scientific farming

Arunachal Pradesh Agriculture Minister Tage Taki, while attending a state executive meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kisan Morcha, has appealed to the workers to work from the grassroots level for Atma Nirbhar Kishan.

PASIGHAT: Arunachal Pradesh Agriculture Minister Tage Taki, while attending a state executive meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kisan Morcha, has appealed to the workers to work from the grassroots level for Atma Nirbhar Kishan.

Addressing the meeting here on Monday, Taki asked the workers to educate the farmers not only towards about agriculture and the horticulture sector, but also towards fishery and cattle rearing.

He also highlighted various approaches made by the department in the respective sectors to create self-employment in the State.

He also specifically asked the farmers to incorporate a new agricultural revolution by integrating scientific ways of farming.

Meanwhile, advisor to Minister Tana Hali Tara moved a political resolution to get realistic targets, which was passed unanimously.

State BJP general secretary Nalong Mize also spoke about harnessing the potential of the State in producing various Agri & Horti products due to the blessed climatic conditions.

He also pointed out the benefits of such meetings where discipline and feeling of bonding as family develops, ultimately giving a team spirit which is the key to success in any field.

Among others, BJP national general secretary of Kisan Morcha Dr Shambu Kumar, advisor to Transport Minister Kaling Moyong, BJP vice-president Yalem Taga Burang and State BJP Kisan Morcha president Dunggoli Libang were also present on the day.
