Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission exam paper leakage alleged

ITANAGAR: The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has once again landed in controversy after two aspiring candidates of the recently held Assistant Engineer Examination conducted by the board alleged that the paper of the main examination got leaked.

The aspirants alleged the paper Leakage of AE civil examination Paper conducted by APPSC held on 26 & 27 August and demanded a stay in the declaration of result through a petition in court. 415 candidates appeared for 33 posts of Assistant Engineer in the recently concluded examination.

Gyamar Padang one of the Aspirant candidates who appeared in the above-mentioned examination alleged malpractice and paper leakage as he got calls from a coaching Institute called "Jeju Institute" through a teacher named "Akhilesh Yadav" who was confident to know some questions which are definitely going to come in the exam.

Then on 24 August two days before the examination when Gyamar Padang aspirant met the teacher Akhilesh Yadav, he was given a set of 5 handwritten questions which he took casually and thought to be a fake prediction.

On the day when the aspirant appeared in the technical paper of the mentioned AE civil examination, Padang was surprised to find out all the exact five questions in the same manner. The numbers & decimals, diagrams, all came exactly without any change even in decimals, said Padang while speaking with the media.

Meanwhile, Secretary - APPSC Dr Jayanta Kumar Ray (IAS) informed that he has received the information and immediately forwarded the case to the police officials to investigate the case.

Meanwhile, candidates have filed a case in Guwhati High Court Itanagar bench and the court on 5th September last directed the Commission not to make any appointments without taking leave of the Court and issued directives to list the case after four weeks.
