NAHARLAGUN: A training programme on e-office was conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh State Aids Control Society (APSACS) to accelerate file processing and maintaining transparency at the same time at the APSACS office here.

Speaking on the occasion, Project Director of APSACS, Dr Riken Rina, said that the e-office is the buzzword today. It will help in speeding up the filing process while maintaining transparency at the same time.

He said every official of the APSACS needs to learn e-office to make it successful. Nodal Officer (Health Department) for e-office Dr Nabam Peter explained the procedure through a practical demonstration where the e-office account of the Project Director was made operational.

Meanwhile, Deputy Director (IEC) APSACS Tashor Pali said that the e-office with the advancement of technology will become the sine qua non for any establishment in the coming days.

"Once it is on board and materialized, the e-office will make work of the office easier and faster," he added. Among others, officers and office officials from APSACS, State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC), Bio-Waste Management, and State Drug Control Society (SDCS) took part in the training.
