ITANAGAR: The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW) has vehemently condemned the alleged attempt to murder a woman at Tigdo, under the Papum Pare district by her alleged husband Late Charu Tanu.
The commission also condemned the murder of alleged accused by the relatives of the wounded woman. The Commission has requested the Superintendent of Police, Papum Pare district to take necessary action against the law breakers.
Meanwhile, the Commission has taken suo moto cognizance and sought status of both the cases.
The APSCW is concerned over the increasing crime against women and girls, urging the concerned authorities to look into the matter on serious note and take necessary steps against the criminals.
Further, the Commission requests all walks of life to cooperate with the police and support the investigations for further progress of the case.
