Assam Rifles apprehended 3 ULFA cadres in Khonsa, Arunachal Pradesh

JAGUN: Three ULFA-Independent cadres were apprehended by troops of the Sixth Assam Rifles from a area under Khonsa Police Station in Arunachal Pradesh near the Indo-Myanmar border on Friday. The troops also recovered several items including 3X .32 pistol, 3X magazines and 3X pistol ammunition from the cadres.

The four apprehendees have been identified as self-styled Sergeant Major Goda Asom/ Hironyo Moran (28) of village Tongona (Tinsukia), Kabir Asom/Sanjoy Borah (27) of village Kakopathar (Tinsukia ) and Ranjon Axom/Nayan Gogoi (25) of village Sapaghati (Sonari).
