Assam Rifles conducts integration tour for Tirap students in Arunachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR: In a dedicated effort to fortify connections with the residents of Tirap district in Arunachal Pradesh, the Khonsa Battalion of Assam Rifles orchestrated a national integration tour for 15 students from the government higher secondary school, Khonsa. The flagging-off ceremony of the tour was held on Tuesday. The event commenced with a warm reception for the participating students, followed by a session providing refreshments and the distribution of tracksuits. The commandant of the battalion, Colonel Rahul Singh, engaged with the students and officially flagged off the tour.

The initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of the battalion to fostering unity and understanding among the diverse communities in the region. The national integration tour would take the students to prominent destinations, including Jorhat, Kaziranga, and Itanagar, providing them with enriching experiences and an opportunity to broaden their perspectives. Such endeavours underscore the battalion's dedication to not only safeguarding the region but also actively contributing to the educational and cultural development of the youth.
