Itanagar: Border Roads Organisation (BRO) Director General Lt Gen Harpal Singh has visited the road sector of 44 BRTF in the forward district of Shi-Yomi on Tato-Manigong-Tadadege road and Yarlung-Lamang road along the Indo China Border on Wednesday.
The DG directed all staff to gear up the progress of various ongoing works to achieve the allotted tasks of current financial year, an official communiqué informed. Appreciating the work being done by the BRO personnel in nation building in these difficult terrains and inclement weather, he stressed upon quality of work as well as safety of the persons while working. The visiting officer also interacted with troops in forward areas and motivated them for early completion of ongoing works.
The Director General was accompanied by Additional DG (East) PKH Singh.
The DG also visited the headquarters of Chief Engineer Project Brahmank at Ranaghat and was briefed about works being executed by BRO by Chief Engineer RK Dhiman, the communiqué added.
