Border Roads Organisation commits to assist social welfare activities

ITANAGAR: In a caring and comforting gesture, Col Saurabh Srivastava, Commander of 48 BRTF, visited two children — Reshma Halai and Konthoi Inju — on the occasion of Saraswati Puja. The Commander also took out time to have lunch with the children, informed sources at Anu Shiksha Seva Trust.

The children under the care of Army and World Education Mission, their social welfare, BRO teachers and members of civil society were touched by the kindness of the Commander. He was accompanied by Maj. Kishore Jit Baruah, EAC Tamo Riba and OCs Thomas Pertin and Rishabh Upadhyaya. Col Saurabh also handed over financial assistance to 'Sanjeev Prakalp' beneficiary SP Acharya and appreciated the students and teachers for creating and maintaining a vibrant educational atmosphere.
