ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has assured the full cooperation of his government in completion of the National Cadets Corps (NCC) Academy in the State.
The NCC academy would be constructed at Balijan under Papumpare district of the State.
Khandu's assurance came when NCC Tezpur-based Group Commander Brigadier A.S. Kasana called on him at his office here on Wednesday to discuss setting up of the academy besides other issues, official sources informed.
During the meeting, Khandu assured to provide support for manpower, resources and infrastructural support in strengthening NCC in the State.
The Chief Minister also extended cooperation of the State government in motivating the youths of the State to join the NCC.
During the meeting, discussion was also held on incentives to NCC 'C' certificate holders in the police recruitment exams of the state government, the sources added.
