COVID-19: Arunachal Pradesh logs 75 fresh cases

Seventy five more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Arunachal Pradesh, pushing the virus tally in the north-eastern State to 53,807, a senior health official said here on Tuesday.

ITANAGAR: Seventy five more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Arunachal Pradesh, pushing the virus tally in the north-eastern State to 53,807, a senior health official said here on Tuesday. The death toll in the frontier state remained at 270 with no casualty reported in the past 24 hours, State Surveillance Officer (SSO) Dr Lobsang Jampa said.

Lower Subansiri reported the highest number of new cases at 19 followed by the COVID-19, Arunachal Pradesh, north-eastern State Region with 13, the official said. The recovery rate among COVID-19 patients is 98.51 per cent while the positivity rate currently stands at 1.85 per cent, the SSO said. Arunachal Pradesh currently has 533 active cases.
