NAMSAI: As a part of the Civic Action Plan (CAP), the 186 BN CRPF installed solar street lights at Samuguri-I village near here on Tuesday. The programme was attended by Commandant 186 Bn-CRPF Janardhan Upadhyay, Second-in-Command Kumar Bijay Shankar along with other officers, GBs and PRI members. Extending gratitude to the 186Bn, CRPF, gaon burah Tarun Ratan appreciated the CRPF for always extending their helping hands for the welfare of the villages. He also urged the CRPF to support them in fighting against the drug menace in the society.
Meanwhile, Janardhan Upadhyay informed that CRPF has been contributing to the society under its Civic Action Programme (CAP) in different sectors under the supervision of Ministry of Home. He also informed that CRPF will be always in the forefront to support the villagers in its fight against the drug abuse in the society.
