ROING: The District Urban Development Agency (DUDA) conducted a mass social service and an awareness-cum-interaction meeting with the shopkeepers on the reduction of single-use plastic (SUP) under "Mission Life" (Lifestyle for Environment) at General Ground on Wednesday. This impactful awareness campaign is aimed at promoting sustainable living practises and creating a positive impact on the environment.
The representatives from DUDA, ‘Green Roing," and ‘AMYAA NGO’ threw light on the ill-effects of SUP on the environment to the shopkeepers and fellow citizens around Roing town, with a mission to raise awareness about the urgent need for individuals to adopt eco-friendly habits. The knowledge gained would empower the people to make informed choices and become agents of change, fostering a collective effort towards a greener and more sustainable future for generations to come.
