ROING: The 3rd quarter District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting was held to review major projects and various other schemes executed under different departments in the district at the District Emporium near here on Friday.
The project construction site of the district emporium is being constructed under the Chief Minister's District Innovation and Challenge Fund (CMDI&CF), which was also reviewed on the day.
Addressing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Soumya Saurabh emphasized on site inspections of projects on a regular basis, instead of just presenting on papers and through powerpoints.
She also stressed on maintaining quality and timely completion of projects and directed user agencies to submit reports of inspections of projects on a weekly basis.
ZPMs and CBO members from IMCLS and ABK also spoke about mandatory attendance of HoDs in such meetings and regular inspections of the major projects.
Later, the DLMC members inspected the under construction Emporium for Textile & Handicraft under CMDI&CF, Indoor Stadium under Khelo India and Model Residential School, Roing under PMJVK.
Member Secretary (DLMC) requested the construction agencies to deposit the electricity and water connection component to Power Department and PHED for quality works and to avoid future complications.
