Changlang: An earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale hit Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh. According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake tremors were felt in Changlang at 8 AM in the morning. The depth of the quake was 10 km. No loss of life or damage of property has been reported.
The official Twitter handle of NCS shared the information about the quake on Twitter. It said: "Earthquake of Magnitude:3.4, Occurred on 01-11-2020, 08:01:37 IST, Lat: 27.44 & Long: 96.30, Depth: 10 Km ,Location: 47km SW of Changlang, Arunachal Pradesh, India"
Earlier on October 9, an earthquake of 3.0 magnitude struck Arunachal's Tawang district.
