PASIGHAT: Along with the rest of the Nation, Department of Women & Child Development Divisional Level ICDS Cell, East Siang District launched the 4th Poshan Pakhwada with the themes- Identification and Celebration of Healthy Child and Activities Concentrated on Integration of Modern and Traditional Practices of Healthy India.
Chief Councillor, Pasighat Municipal Corporation (PMC), Okiyam Moyong Borang, administered the Poshan Pledge as the chief guest. The participant were CDPOs of four ICDS Project, Supervisors, Field Staff, AWWs, AWHs, ASHA and Staff of ICDS.
Borang advised all the stakeholder to spread the message of Poshan Abhiyan to every corner of the District, during the weeklong celebration of Poshan Pakwada 2022. She said that all the stakeholders should carry out individual responsibilities with utmost sincerity and dedications, as per the guidelines of the celebration. The week-long celebration must be a fruitful by covering all the beneficiaries in the district, she further added.
Meanwhile, Deputy Director ICDS, M.Gao emphasized on 'Shahi Poshan Desh Roshan'. She also advised to identify Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) and Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM) children if any in the district and share the information to higher authority for further necessary action.
