FlyBig Airlines Conducts Successful Trial Landing at Tezu Airport in Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh CM told media while informing that FlyBig Airlines plane would initiate air connectivity from the Tezu airport to major heartlines.

Itanagar: In a major accomplishment for the UDAN scheme under the central government, a successful trial landing of a commercial plane at the Tezu airport in Arunachal Pradesh was on Sunday.

Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu told the media while informing that FlyBig Airlines plane would initiate air connectivity from the Tezu airport to the heartlines.

It may be mentioned that Tezu airport is the second airport in Arunachal Pradesh to be connected with passenger plane services.

"Trial landing successfully conducted by @flybigairlines today at Tezu airport. Happy to see that it's our second airport getting connected with passenger service aircraft under the UDAN scheme launched by Shri @narendramodi ji. Thanks to @JM_Scindia ji for expediting the matter," tweeted Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu.

In the meantime, the Hollongi Airport at Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh is also ready for flight services.

It may be mentioned that Flybig Chief Commercial Officer Gaurav Rathore while speaking to the media said, "It gives me immense pride to announce that we have successfully established air connectivity in Tezu providing people of this city the freedom to travel via air.
