Government Secondary School to celebrate platinum jubilee

The Government Secondary School, Balek, established in the pre-Independence era of 1946, is all set to celebrate its platinum jubilee from October 25 to October 27.

PASIGHAT: The Government Secondary School, Balek, established in the pre-Independence era of 1946, is all set to celebrate its platinum jubilee from October 25 to October 27.

The school, which has produced many eminent personalities who have contributed immensely in shaping the future of modern Arunachal Pradesh in various spheres, has preserved its archives with a deep sense of pride and nostalgia of its alumni and teachers and the land donor for setting up the school, Ketem Yomso.

The Platinum Jubilee Celebration (PJC) 2023 will be graced by Chief Minister Pema Khandu and East Arunachal Loksabha MP Tapir Gao and a host of dignitaries. The valedictory function on October 27 will be graced by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein as chief guest, UD Minister Kamlung Mossang as guest of honour and Information Commissioner Gumjum Haider as special guest.
