ITANAGAR: The maiden edition of the India Vision Mandala Festival will commence at Mandala Top in the West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh on November 4. The two-day festival in the enchanting Mandala Top, a one-of-a-kind musical extravaganza, is set to redefine the festival experience. The event aims to unite people through an array of diverse genres at an altitude of 10,500 feet above sea level. The festival promises a captivating musical journey featuring some of the best DJs from India as well as the globally renowned DJ Fred Neuromotor from Spain.

The event will be a celebration not only of electronic and live music but also of the rich heritage of folk music from the region. The state’s Department of Youth Affairs will support this transformative experience. Xtreme Himalayas is the partner of the festival, while Arunachal Organic will be the co-sponsor, emphasizing organic and sustainable practices. The festival will have two distinct stages: electronic and live. The festival's diverse musical offerings encompass electronic, psy-trance, folk, contemporary, and Bollywood genres, ensuring that there's something for everyone to enjoy.

The festival also promises an enchanting fusion of creativity, with distinctive partnerships set to mesmerize both tourists and festivalgoers. Orchestrated by the Mon Multipurpose Development Cooperative Society in Dirang, its noble purpose is to shed light on the perils of drug abuse. Women self-help groups from Gyalshing district in Sikkim will converge with SHGs from Dirang for a culinary extravaganza, tantalizing taste buds with ancient millet delicacies of the indigenous Monpa tribe at various food stalls, aligning with the International Year of Millet.
