ROING: A district-level executive committee meeting of DHS (District Health Society) was held to chalk out the utilization of funds for COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 patients provided under MMRKK (Mukhya Mantri Rogi Kalyan Kosh) schemes at the DC's Conference Hall here on Thursday.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner K.N. Damo, DMO Dr. R. Tatan, members of the committee and MOs (Medical Officers). The officials also discussed the increasing number of COVID-positive cases in the district, the steady rise in positivity rate and the preventive measures that can be taken. Stressing on the judicious utilization of the MMRKK fund, DC K.N. Damo also assured all possible help in acquiring medical equipment to augment the healthcare facilities available in the district.

Meanwhile, DMO Dr. R. Tatan briefed the gathering on the implementation of 'MMRKK' scheme in the district, breakup of funds to be utilized for purchase of medicines, engagement of manpower, purchase of COVID material, civil works among other issues. He also advised the MOs to be proactive in their work in these difficult times.
