Minister Mama Natung flags off bus services between Seppa and Shillong

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Mama Natung on Monday flagged off two new State transport ultra deluxe buses to be operated as night services from Seppa in the East Kameng district to Shillong via Guwahati and Tezpur in Assam.

Talking to the media, the Minister said, "The residents of Seppa Township will now have a lot of convenience travelling to Shillong, Guwahati or Tezpur for medical, education and business purposes."

"Gone are the days when we used to scuffle for tickets at bus counters. The people of East Kameng are highly grateful to Chief Minister Pema Khandu for the bus services," he added.

The flag-off ceremony was attended by Seppa MLA Tapuk Taku, East Kameng Deputy Commissioner Pravimal Abhishek Polumatla, Sports and Youth Affairs secretary Anirudh Singh, CEO of Smart City Itanagar Dahey Sangno, PD Ashok Tajo and station superintendent Tarh Talom among others, a press release informed here.
