MLA Kaling Moyong visits flood-hit areas in Arunachal's Pasighat

MLA Kaling Moyong visited the flood-damaged and affected areas of the 38th Pasighat East constituency on Wednesday.

Pasighat: MLA Kaling Moyong visited the flood-damaged and affected areas of the 38th Pasighat East constituency on Wednesday.

The legislator was accompanied by Chief Councillor, Pasighat Municipal Corporation (PMC) Okiam Moyong Borang, East Siang DC Tayi Taggu, SP Sumit Kumar Jha along with concerned officials and agency.

The team inspected the washed away abutments/portions of Sille Korong Bridge, road blockage of Mongku village and also visited other flood-affected areas like Boying Village, Yapgo Prayer centre, Takilalung village, and the affected site of the newly Constructed Bridge of Takilalung to Yagrung village road and lower Baskota, Pasighat.

Kaling Moyong urged all the HoDs to be alert during such situations and be available at the station to reach the affected areas and the public at any time for help.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu requested the public to comply with the administration order & advisories. He urged people to stay alert and informed.

Among others, 5th IRBN Commandant Aishwariya Sharma, District Disaster Management Officer, (DDMO), DDSE, EE(PWD), EE(Highways), EE(PHED), EE(Power), EE(WRD), EE(UD & Housing), EE(PMC), ZPMs and other officials also accompanied.
