ITANAGAR: The Arunachal Pradesh government is set to host the Namdapha Butterfly Festival at Namdapha National Park & Tiger Reserve in Changlang district, from October 13 to 15 next.
Several participants including professional photographers, environmentalists, biologists, and wildlife aficionados and experts from across the country are expected to attend the annual biodiversity festival, official sources said. Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein has, meanwhile, invited people to come and experience the Namdapha Butterfly Festival.
“Experience the Namdapha Butterfly Festival, an exciting calendar event of the state government, being held from October 13th to 15th. This festival celebrates the beauty and diversity of butterflies found in Namdapha National Park & Tiger Reserve, and is a must-see for nature lovers and enthusiasts,” Mein wrote in X, formerly twitter.
“I welcome all the participants from 16 states across India who will be joining this festival. This is an opportunity to meet and connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for nature and conservation. Let's promote the beauty of nature and spread awareness about the importance of preserving it for future generations,” he added.
