ITANAGAR: Nyishi Elite Society (NES) president Bengia Tolum on Sunday said that for committing some mistakes, an apology is accepted, but for a criminal conspiracy and willful crime, there is no consideration for an apology.

His reply came following an unconditional apology sought by the BRO ADG P.K Singh on behalf of Border Road Organization (BRO) over the Kimin-Potin road fiasco and had stated that it was 'unintentional' and without any 'mala-fide' intention.

Tolum told the reporters that NES demands the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Kimin fiasco. He said that the NIA will ensure that there is no Chinese agent present within the BRO, who is claiming Kimin as a part of Assam. "Blaming the Google Map by the ADG is completely wrong because Kimin existed before Google came into existence, therefore, how can one depend on the information provided by Google," Tolum said.

He also informed that Chief Minister Pema Khandu had assured to take all possible actions against all those responsible for the Kimin fiasco.
