'Prepare Exams Calendar For Aspirants' Benefit', Arunachal Pradesh CM Suggests APSSB

The Arunachal Pradesh CM said that doing so would turn out to be beneficial for the aspirants as they will be able to prepare themselves for the examinations accordingly.

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu has recommended the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) to prepare a calendar of the exams for the sake of the benefit of the aspirants.

Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu, on May 25, advised the APSSB to prepare a fixed schedule of exams that the board would conduct over a period of one year.

The Arunachal Pradesh CM said that doing so would turn out to be beneficial for the aspirants as they will be able to prepare themselves for the examinations accordingly. 

Pema Khandu suggested the APSSB to conduct exams for various group C posts in different state government departments by holding three exams a year.

As per his suggestion, the three examinations should be categorised into three groups – combined secondary level (CSL) examination, combined higher secondary level (CHSL) examination and combined graduate level (CGL) examination.

He said that the unemployed youths in the state can prepare for the exams without having to wait for the publication of any notification and can prepare accordingly after the fixed schedule for each of the three-level of examinations is published.

Pema Khandu asserted that his government has brought about significant transformation as well as transparency in Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board.

Meanwhile, Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) Secretary Santosh Kumar Rai had said that the anomalies in the recruitment process of Forester and Forest Guard candidates were due to technical issues, and it will soon issue a notice to give the candidates a second chance.

Rai said that there were numerous complaints received from the candidates by the board on the anomalies during the physical test. Accordingly, all the applications were processed during a board meeting.
