ITANAGAR: The Department of Education of Rajiv Gandhi University will organize two national webinars on August 7 and August 9 next with the topics 'National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 – Reshaping Teacher Education' and 'National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 – Rejuvenation of ECCE as Foundational Learning'.

The webinars are part of celebration of completion of one year of transformative reforms under National Education Policy– 2020. Prominent invited speakers for the event includes, Prof Venita Kaul of Emeritus Education, Ambedkar University, New Delhi, Prof Padma Yadav, NCERT New Delhi, Prof K Srinavas, NIEPA New Delhi and Dr Alok Gardia, Associate Professor from Banaras Hindu University.

The areas on which the talks would be deliberated are foundational stage of school education, initiatives and strategies for implementation of ECCE, teacher education and digital pedagogy and NEP-2020 and role of teacher education.
