Rebels held by security force in Arunachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR: A security force in Arunachal Pradesh apprehended an active member of the NSCN (K-YA) faction along with two overground workers of the outfit. In an operation launched by Assam Rifles in Changlang district on Friday, along with the NSCN cadre, two overground workers have also been arrested, a report from the force said. According to the report available in X, the three insurgents were nabbed at the Indo-Myanmar border of the district.

Cash of over five lakh along with war-like stores were recovered from their possession." Taking to X, the oldest paramilitary force said, “#AssamRifles prevented the infiltration of insurgents for the procurement of war-like stores by apprehending one active insurgent of the NSCN (K-YA) and two overground workers along with Rs 5,60,000 in black money and other stores at the Indo-Myanmar border in Jairampur circle, Arunachal Pradesh.”
