Sarkar Aapke Dwar draws overwhelming response in Arunachal

Itanagar: The ninth edition of Sarkar Aapke Dwaar and initial Arunachal Rising campaign, the two pet projects conceived by the present government, on Friday held today at Pobdi Secondary School at Aalo in West Siang district, drew overwhelming response from the people of Ete Bango (village).

Inaugurating the function, DC Swetika Sachan said that the programmes are part of reaching out to people to provide essential services to the people at their doorsteps and make people aware of the programme and policies initiated by the government.

She exhorted all head of offices to give their best services and people to take maximum benefits from the departments converging to give all essential services, an official release informed.

Free LPG connections were also distributed to beneficiaries by the DC through district food and civil supply officer besides issuing ST, income, birth, Aadhar cards, registration of weavers, farmers, avenue plantation seeds, medical checkups, distribution of subsidized equipments and tools besides awareness on various schemes by the participating departments.

On the occasion, 200 Handbooks titled ‘Arunachal Rising 2018- Bold Initiatives by Pema Khandu led People Friendly Govt’ was distributed to target groups for awareness among all strata of people.

The effort was a direction towards sensitizing the innocent and ignorant masses about the people centric developments being initiated by the government to make them a part of the governing process.

The next phase of campaign would be launched at Yomcha subdivision to percolate down the benefits to interior people of the areas, the release added.
