Talo Jerang Additional Deputy Commissioner Bordumsa to take charge as DC Anjaw

Talo Jerang, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Bordumsa subdivision in Arunachal’s Changlang district, has been promoted as Deputy Commissioner and will take the charge as DC Anjaw.

BORDUMSA: Talo Jerang, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Bordumsa subdivision in Arunachal's Changlang district, has been promoted as Deputy Commissioner and will take the charge as DC Anjaw.

According to an official Memo No PERS-12012/18//2021/300 issued by Naresh Kumar, the Chief Secretary to the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, dated August 31, Talo Jerang, the present ADC Bordumsa, will take over as DC Anjaw in lieu of IAS Ayushi Sudan who is directed to report to the Chief Secretary for further posting.

Similarly, Penga Tato, the ADC Deomali, has been escalated to the post of DC West Siang and Pagli Sora, the Joint Secretary (APPSC), has been promoted as DC Dibang valley in lieu of IAS Minge Sherpa. Similarly, Likha Teji, the in-charge ADC Seppa, will take over as Municipal Commissioner at Itanagar Muncipal Corporation.

Meanwhile, the people of Bordumsa from various walks of life have expressed happiness at the promotion of the down-to earth official, Talo Jerang, terming him as 'liberal, people-friendly and a very prompt official'.

"He has always remain associated with the ground work force and tried to explore all means to bring about socio-economic development, allocating the available resources uniformly to all villagers and officials," said Khachang Maio, the ZPM Bordumsa. According to him, Talo Jerang was an institution in himself who always strived to train, teach and convince that community living with active participation in local governance was the essence of harmony and growth.

Meanwhile, Jerang, during an interaction with The Sentinel on Tuesday evening, said that he was overwhelmed at receiving best wishes from the people of Bordumsa.
